    Nicole Finigan Ndzibah has had an impressive career in the fashion retail industry, including working for renowned companies such as The Gap, Talbots, Macy's, and Tommy Hilfiger, where she honed her skills in merchandising, retail development, and training divisions. Moreover, she was an adjunct professor at FIT and LIM College, sharing her expertise with aspiring industry professionals.

    Nicole has been a member of the Hems & Brims Advisory Board since 2024 and, in 2025, accepted the role of Executive Chair. She also serves as the Inaugural Executive Director of the Social Justice Center at SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology, a position she began in 2022. She understands firsthand the obstacles faced by BIPOC youth, college students, and working professionals in creative fields, and in these roles, she strives to provide opportunities for career development and education to creatives of color. Nicole oversees various programs and scholarships aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion in the industry.

    Nicole holds two undergraduate degrees from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI, and an MBA from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School in Boston, MA. She is a Brooklyn, NY native who resides in Westchester County, NY, where she gives back to her community through several local and national organizations.

    Misoy Chebet is a Nairobi-based fashion designer and creative entrepreneur. With experience in costume design, interior-inspired fashion, and sustainability-focused projects, she transforms everyday materials into expressive, functional art. Her work celebrates culture, community, and bold self-expression.

    Whether designing for the stage, styling for film, or growing her own creative platforms, Misoy is dedicated to empowering emerging designers and making space for diverse voices in Kenya’s fashion industry. In addition to her design work, she writes poetry and is completing her first chapbook.

    In her role as Global Programs Advisor, Misoy supports Hems & Brims international expansion by advising on program planning, partnerships, and cross-cultural initiatives.
